Jennifer P. BYRAM

Jennifer has served as a Research Associate for her tribe in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Historic Preservation Department since 2016 where she runs monthly textile workshops and promotes Native Southeastern textiles through her continued research and presentations. Jennifer has also coordinated the documentation and digitization of the Choctaw Nation museums’ collections and the Chahta Imponna Database, a database of Choctaw traditional arts curated worldwide. Jennifer received an MSc in Visual, Material, and Museum Anthropology from the University of Oxford and her Bachelor’s in French Studies and Visual and Communication Arts from Franklin University Switzerland. Jennifer Byram is now a PhD student in Archaeology at the University of Arizona.
