Peter Jemison, an artist and former Director of the Seneca Art & Culture Center on the historical site of Ganondagan, is a member of the Heron clan on the Cattaraugus territory and a preeminent representative of Haudenosaunee culture. He helped prepare the exhibition "Wampum. Beads of Diplomacy in New France", and the last version of the "Greater New York" exhibition at the New York MoMA.

As an expert historian on the Iroquois Confederacy and a major resource person for his nation's ceremonies, he is committed to transmitting Haudenosaunee cultural heritage to future generations.

In the course of this meeting, Peter Jemison will go back over his career and his artistic work. The latter explores experiences of Haudenosaunee culture, the tension between Euro-American and Indigenous-American ways of life, and his struggle to regain the land rights of the Native North American peoples.
